Join the Lake of the Woods Garden Club and Join the Fun!

The Lake of the Woods Garden Club is all about having fun with men and women who share an interest in gardening and care about their community.  Whether it's working in the community gardens at Lake of the Woods, developing a park-like area near the dam walk or collecting food for the Food Pantry, club members work together and have fun while accomplishing their tasks or going on outings!

Responsibilities of membership are minimal but important! 

Members are expected to:

• Select and join at least one committee and also to help with any fundraisers  the club has.  For example, when we host the LOW Garden Club Tour, members may help by staffing gardens the day of the Tour or help by organizing and planning the event which begins weeks out. 
• Help the Club's Hostess Coordinator by bringing refreshments to at least one of the monthly meetings each year. It's a great time to share your favorite cookie or brownie or some other finger food.  
• Decorate the Clubhouse for Christmas and help take down those decorations following New Years.

If you do not live in Lake of the Woods, you will need a member of the club to sponsor your membership.
